Welcome to my worldâwhere the coffee is strong, the scissors are sharp, and the salon is just steps away from my kitchen. As a home-based hairstylist, my days are a mix of creativity, connection, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. Hereâs a peek behind the scenes!
âď¸ Rise & Shine (with Coffee, Always)
My day starts around 6 AM. I soak in the peace, sip my coffee, and help my kiddo get ready for school. Then I take a few quiet moments to center myselfâsometimes a walk, sometimes just sitting on the patio and breathing before the buzz begins. Itâs my way of prepping for a day filled with people, hair, and stories.
đââď¸ Salon Setup Vibes
After my morning routine, itâs time to transform my space into a cozy, clean, and calm little salon oasis. Natural light? On. Tools? Sanitized and set. Music? Soft and chill. I want every client to feel like theyâre walking into a peaceful, personalized experienceânot a busy, noisy salon.
đ Clients, Connection & Hair Goals
By 9 AM, the first client arrives. We chat, we laugh, we plan. Whether itâs a bold color change or a quick trim, we always start with a conversation. I want my clients to feel heardâand leave feeling even better than they expected.
Every head of hair is a new canvas. Some days itâs all about bold transformations, other times itâs little refreshes that make a big impact. Either way, the best part? Seeing someone light up when they look in the mirror. That never gets old.

𼪠Quick Breaks & Big Gratitude
In between clients, I take quick breaks (yes, more coffee). I stretch, snack, and jot down notes about each clientâwhat they loved, what they want next time, how I can make it even better. Little things that make a big difference.
đ Afternoon Magic
The afternoon brings more clients and more stories. A teen getting a confidence boost. A mama-daughter duo making memories. Every person brings their own vibeâand I love being part of their journey.
I also take time to share tips for healthy hair at home, because great hair doesnât stop when you leave my chair.
đ Wind Down & Reflect
After my last appointment, I tidy up and reset the space. Then I shift gearsâdinner, family time, maybe a little inspiration scroll or brainstorming for new techniques.

đ Final Thoughts
Working from home as a stylist isnât just convenientâitâs personal. I get to offer one-on-one care in a space Iâve created with love. Itâs about more than just hair; itâs about confidence, connection, and creativity.
Every day is a chance to make someone feel amazing. And honestly? I wouldnât trade it for anything.
